Reproductions & Cards

I develop reproductions of what I feel is my best work because I feel strongly that fine art should be available to everyone, so I try and have pieces at many price levels. Plus there are some settings where an original oil painting would not be appropriate. For example, my daughter has laminated prints of my work in her kindergarten classroom.

Giclées

Giclee printmaking was developed in the last 12 years as a method of fine art reproduction.  Paintings are photographed, scanned and digitally stored in a computer, and then sent directly to a high-resolution inkjet printer, which uses acid free paper or canvas.

I have reproduction Giclees on high quality acid free paper.

Giclee on canvas: A water-resistant protective coating is applied to my Giclees on canvas, which provides an extra layer of UV protection.  I then add oil paint strokes to add texture and color, making each Giclee unique. I limit production of each image on canvas to six.

Giclee on Paper: Are done on acid free paper, and are usually limited to a specific number

Cards

It is lovely to send a note/card with an image on the front that expresses a special mood or message. I sell sets of blank greeting cards in packs of 6 cards with envelopes for $20. Each card is approx. 4 ½ x 5 ½ inches. Some sold individually for $4 each.
